George's Senate Restaurant: A Heartwarming Family Dining Experience in Northville Township

Always excellent food and excellent service!! The only bad thing about this restaurant is that, if you're like me and have a difficult time deciding what you want to eat, you have a really hard time deciding! The great thing is that no matter what you decide on, it's gonna be terrific!

The owner of the restaurant is a wonderful humble gentleman whose name is George. He feeds the poor and during Thanksgiving he feeds the whole community besides that if you come in, he remembers who you are and always treats your family just like his own thank you George for serving our community. A Wonderful Family Dining Experience! We had an absolutely fantastic experience at George's Senate Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The food was everything you’d hope for in a great comfort meal—delicious, hearty, and made with care. Every dish we tried was flavorful and cooked to perfection. You can truly taste the love and passion in the cooking! What really made our visit special was the outstanding service. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice local spot for brunch! The owner George was very kind and greeted us on the way in and out. Solid service and great views on the outdoor patio where we sat near the bird houses and colorful flowers. The food is a hit during brunch! Very family friendly spot.

This restaurant, family and George are amazing people. I don't care what time you go or who is working the environment and people are always the same. You are always treated as family and friends. The food is homemade and amazing. George is very genuine and is interested in serving the public needs. He opens his heart and doors during the holidays for those who need a place to belong and eat. He never charges money at all. He truly is a blessing for everyone he comes in contact with! Here I am again at my favorite breakfast place. I've been coming here for years. Not much has changed since my last review in 2019. Great staff, owner, and food. Plus the 9-hole golf course is a favorite place for sure. My dad's 83rd birthday was that day and we were there for breakfast. George invited the family back for dinner that evening and he treated! We appreciate your hospitality and generosity. Food was good, service was slow for a non busy day, staff were friendly. I did notice the outside seating had the silverware in a cup they probably use for outside seating uncovered outside which didn't seem sanitary to me. Outside seating was not very clean. Overall it was an okay experience.

Very good. It is quite noisy and the tables are quite close together. As a result, the staff frequently bumps into chairs as they scurry through. This is disturbing and made my table mate spill her coffee. A booth would be more comfortable. The Greek salad was very good. Gyro good as well as large. Had to ask several times for drinks and to-go boxes.

We came after my uncle’s funeral. There were 50 of us and they all did an outstanding job of taking care of us. The waiters were wonderful and attentive and accurate and kind. The food was great. I couldn’t be more impressed! Thank you to everyone at George’s for such a positive experience.
